Some of the workers of the Lagos State Government who spoke to the journalists said, Ambode’s payment of 25% as the end of the year bonus is highly commendable because previous administrations in the state had only been paying between 10% - 15% of their basic salary as the end of the year bonus.
Lagos State and Local Governments workers in the state could not stop praising the state governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, for paying them 25% of their basic salary as end of the year Bonus. The workers expressed their deep gratitude and happiness to the Governor for placing the state workers in the right position and seeing to their betterment.
Another person said the Gov. is doing everything possible to make life easy and comfortable not only for the civil servants but the general public and thus have enhanced staff productivity through his unending capacity building and reform programs since he took the mantle of leadership in Lagos State.
