PARTY MEMBERS IN EFCC NET ARE ON THEIR OWN- PDP

The Peoples Democratic Party said the party never asked any of its members to collect money on its behalf from the office of the former National Security Adviser, Col Sambo Dasuki and that each member on trial for in connection to collecting money from the ex-NSA office should carry their cross.

Alhaji Abdullahi Jalo, the Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the party while briefing  pressmen on Monday in Abuja said money meant for arms purchase were being diverted for other things by some people who could never be imagined "were involved."

He said, what was known to all the party members and Nigerians as well is that  "billions of naira" for  Goodluck Jonathan re-election campaigns was realised by donations from "business tycoons in this country".
He said: “So, why should somebody now tell us that money meant for arms and appropriated by the National Assembly was diverted into PDP campaign”

“Haliru Bello did a contract with the office of Sambo Dasuki to the tune of #600m with his company’s name, not PDP.

“In the case of Olisa Metuh, his company allegedly had transactions with the office of National Security Adviser. So, what is PDP business with that?”

He therefore said the party has nothing whatsoever with each and every member and leaders of the party in  EfCC  net.
