PRESENT TAX CLEARANCE OR NO STUDENT ADMISSION IN ABIA

Képtalálat a következőre: „nigeria pupils images”From now on Abia State Government has made a pledge not to admit students to neither public nor private primary and secondary schools unless tax receipts are presented by parents.

Bonie Iwuoha, the state Commissioner for Information, made the announcement and explained that it was the decision of the State Executive Council.

The government also directed that both private and public schools should introduce skill acquisition studies in their curricula to help students develop their talents.

According to Iwuoha, this policy would apply to returning pupils and students as well in January.

Iwuoha further announced that the government had also instructed its ministries and agencies to from now on, stop appointing revenue agents for the collection of revenue and warned that any agency that fail to yield to the directive would be sanctioned.
