WOMAN SHOT HUSBAND DEAD IN DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

A woman, Miller, 30, has been arrested for shooting  her husband dead in a domestic violence situation in Phoenix. Emergency crew who first arrived the scene on an unknown emergency medical call confirmed the man dead at the scene.
The firefighters said when they arrived the scene they found the front door open with a haze of smoke from an extinguished fire.

According to the police report, the woman admitted that she shot her husband and said there was a domestic violence situation. Though it is not yet verified the kind of relationship that exists between both, but said they believe there is a history of such incidents in the past between the couple.
The police reports that when she was asked what happened, She told police "I shot him." She later made a statement to police that "I just kept shooting," according to the police documents.

Police reports that the victim had three bullet holes in his back and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The handgun believed to have been used in the shooting was on the bed near Miller. A second gun was also reportedly found on the bed.

Police say after her husband had arrived home from work, the couple started a verbal argument over their "financial difficulties and the lack of food in their residence."

During the verbal exchange, police say Miller threw a plate of potatoes which she had made, causing the plate to break.

She told the police that as the verbal argument continued, Miller alleged that while she was inside her bedroom, her husband began a fire in the kitchen. The policed said, "She also reported that prior to emergency personnel arrival, the victim had been lighting small fires inside the home, which was also confirmed to an extent,"

When she smelled smoke, Miller says she armed herself with her 9mm handgun and entered into the hallway.

The victim was unarmed, according to the police report.

Miller told police she began shooting him "so she could get out of the residence,” and that she “did not know how many times she had shot Jesus.

Miller says she then put the fire out in the kitchen by filling a pot of water and dumping the water on top of the items on fire.
