BORNO HUNTERS ASK ARMY TO ALLOW THEM JOIN THE FIGHT AGAINST BOKO HARAM

Borno hunters
Borno State hunters yesterday, called on the military to allow them to join in the war against insurgents in Sambisa Forest. Mallam Mai-Gana Mai-Durma, the king of the Hunters said they are ready to engage in the  fight against the terrorists and  "because we know the terrain very well," he said.

Mai-Durma lamented that, the hunters in  all the 27 local Government areas of Borno State have
been rendered idle by the Boko Haram insurgents and that hunters from " all the 27 Borno LGAs are all in Maiduguri with our leaders doing nothing at present because of Boko Haram."

He therefore pleaded with the army military authorities for consideration in allowing them  “overrun Sambisa in partnership with members of the civilian JTF if given the opportunity."

“This will help to complement the effort of military in the anti-terrorism operation," instead of just
“idling away, we will want to assist the military in crushing Boko Haram terrorists,"he said.
