SCHOLARSHIPS FOR MASTER AND PHD STUDENTS IN SOUTH AFRICA

2016 Master and PHD Scholarships/admissions for sub-Sahara Africa students is available for grab in South African-German Centre for Development Research South Africa.

Nationality
The latest 2016 scholarships is Postgraduate candidates from these Sub-Sahara Africa countries: Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Ghana, Cote ‘lvoire, Gabon, Benin, Mozambique, Senegal, Togo, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Angola, Djibouti, Sudan, Burundi, Botswana, Madagascar, South Africa, Lesotho, Swaziland, Mauritius, Cameroon, DR Congo, Somalia, Nigeria, Gambia, Comoros, Republic of Congo, Burkina Faso, Cabo Verde.

Fields of Study
Thr Postgraduate scholarships are for the applicants in the Public Administration, Public Policy ECONOMICS, Development Studies fields.

Scholarships to Be Awarded
Successful applicants get monthly allowances of 650€ and another 900€ as travel allowances.

How to Apply
Applicants must fill an application form online. The scholarships can also be taken at the (UWC) University of the Western Cape, Cape Town in South Africa

Level
The latest Scholarships are for Postgraduate candidates pursuing their masters or PhD programmes.

Eligibility
Applicants should have excellent academic record from last degree to be eligible.

Requirement
* academic certificates (certified copies)
* academic transcript
a reference letter from previous academic institution and employer
* a copy of passport or ID
Motivation letter
* Curriculum Vitae ( Europass format must be used).
* Applicants must apply not later than 6 years completing their former degree from an internationally recognised university.
* Proof of English Language profiency tests results or letter of English proficiency from academic institutions must be provided by Applicants.
* MA applicants must write a page paper on 1 out of the 4 topics given on the website.
* PhD candidates must submit a Research Proposal of their PhD project in according to the guideline given on the website.
* All crtificates and transcripts not in English or Afrikaans must be submitted with their translations in English duely certified by Notary Public.

  1. I was diagnosed as HEPATITIS B carrier in 2013 with fibrosis of the
