Senator Stella Oduah (Anambra-North Senatorial District), in a statement distributed to reporters, described the budget as “very robust and seemingly thorough and well-thought out,” and said it will hopefully address many of the economic and security problems the country is facing currently.
She expressed her delight in the fact that the budget tacklesmain problems concerning the rural communities, also that as the President have touched on areas that included the boosting of oil and non-oil revenues; efficient collection and enforcement of VAT and customs duties; and the subsidized funding of the agricultural and solid mineral sectors, she said 2016 would indeed set a new path for the country.
