Ignoring a headache is a normal thing because mostly it is a thing that comes and goes on its own especially after taking a dose of pain relief, isn't it? bur take your time to read this piece.
A 26 yrs old man ,Luis Ortiz, from California did ignored his headache which started around August this year, but later got worse. The cause of his headache was very shocking, the headache was caused by a tapeworm egg(lava) he unknowingly ate which later got into his brain from his intestine. According to Napa Valley Register reports] the result of the ER at the Valley Medical center shows that there was a cyst already forming around the worm in the man's brain not allowing water to get into his brain. ORTIZ neurosurgeon , Soren Singel, said he was at the verge of death.
The surgeon, Singel, said a living wiggling worm was removed from Ortiz brain measuring about 1/16 of an inch. He said Ortiz has been placed on medication to remove other tapeworms that might still remain in his system.
Singel said the tapeworm was likely to come from pork or the feces of an infected person who prepared the food ate by the victim.Singel said "nuerocysticercosis" is a "parasitic infection caused by larva cyst of the pork tapeworm" which made around 1000 Americans to be hospitalized every year. Ortiz says he now stays away from pork.
