The
34 year old woman,Nancy Carrasco, had a miscarriage three months
before she was due to give birth, but did not share the news with her
family, she faked the rest of the pregnancy.
“She
even went for medical check-ups at hospital where she met pregnant
23-year-old Luvineydi Yasmin Velazquez Thomas and befriended her.
Once she established the friendship it is claimed the woman was
invited to her house in Tijuana, on the Mexican border with the US,
where she was killed and the baby cut out”- UK Mirror reports.
To
be sure that the baby was okay Carrasso admitted herself at the local IMSS
birth clinic and claimed the baby to e hers, but because she did not
have the symptom of someone who just gave birth the doctor in charge
told her relatives to go andbring her placenta from her house, that
was how the body of the dead lady was found in her house and the
family members alerted the police.
When
confronted, the police said she admitted she murdered the lady by
strangling her from the rear and and a knife to cut open her tummy
and steal the baby.
She
said that she had been terrified her husband would leave her if they
lost their baby, it is claimed.
According
to UK MIRROR “The baby is in hospital whilst Carrasco is at the
Tijuana social re-adaptation centre, where she is awaiting a trial
facing charges of first-degree murder.
Police
said Carrasco made it clear to the authorities that she acted alone.
Her
husband Francisco Javier Torres Cubias and friend Reyna Isabel Munoz
Guzman were also arrested.”
