CONTINUITY OR CHANGE 1

Nigeria is at a cross road. On March 28, 2015, we have to decide, we continue this way or we make a change. Many people believe we should continue while many believe we must change. Any how, the majority will have to carry the day.

If for any reason, beyond your control or ignorance, you have not your PVC, am sorry you will not be able to vote in the coming election, so please stay away from polling booths and never try to complain when some people impose their choice on you. You were all given the opportunity but you could not make use of it.

You have your PVC but definitely you do not want to cast your vote for reasons I have always heard:
a. Politicians are all the same, they get there, they forget the masses and steal.
b. It is dangerous to go near polling booths because there can be fight.
c. You vote or you don’t vote they know who will win, our vote doesn’t count.
d. It is God that chooses leaders, let the will of God be done.

Let me tell you all these reasons are only flimsy excuses. These are the same reasons you gave in 2011 and see the consequences. Even among devils, there are still some lesser ones. Agreed they are all evils but let us take our time to choose less evil among them else will fall in the hand of the most dangerous ones. Saying your vote will not count is like accepting defeat before even going to fight. You should go there vote and protect your vote. Register your presence in large number and be peaceful, there will be no fight. Even those that are coming to snatch ballot box will fear when they see you in large number. But many time we give then free hand to oppress us. Many of them we know them, you talk to them they listen and change. Yes, it is God that enthrone a King or leader but we must play our own role. Play your role by voting the right candidate.

You agents of manipulation. You agents of rig and commotion. Be you Police officer, Military man, Civilian thugs, INEC official, etc. You are helping in rigging election for whatever reason, be it monetary, power, Job, position or contract, I tell you you are doing yourself harm.

You my friend, what role are you playing in this election? Are you a candidate, supporter, Journalist, or just a law abiding citizen. Let me tell you, some in your street see you as an enlighten fellow and waiting for you to enlighten them on this election. They see you as educated and waiting for your guidance. They see you as responsible and looking forward to your opinion. Talk to them, educate them. Preach to the hooligans, to give peace a chance.
It is will be well with you, with me and with Nigeria. (Amen)
