It is very un-usual but do happens sometimes. The much talked about Ooni of Ife, europe tour 2016 scheduled to start from Frankfurt on 4th of November is cancelled due to many reasons.
The tour was to kick start from Frankfurt with a visit to the Nigerian consulate, audience with Frankfurt Governor, thereafter meeting with the Yoruba community in Frankfurt for a cocktail. In Hamburg was to be a dinner with Ooni and awards ceremony.Ooni was to have a business meting with german business community in Hamburg where MOU was to be signed on Monday 7th, November.
The tour was actually planned to move from Germany to Holland but the Holland part was cancelled long before now because the organisers of the tour could not carry the Yorubas in Holland along, so Holland was not ready to receive his Imperial Marjesty.
There were also some problems between the organiser and the Yorubas in Germany. The Yorubas in Germany believed the Organisers were not open and not truthful but they are ready to welcome the Oba due to their love for him.Yorubas in Frankfurt and Hamburg are ready to celebrate and show their love to their King but as it is now they can only wait for another opportunity.
From reliable source, Ooni was to travel with his Olori and other 100 people to Germany, but trust germany, they said they can only give 30 visas to the Royal Father unlike America.
As at 1st of November, Ooni was yet to obtain visa for a tour starting on 4th of Novermber.
