SARAKI TO NIGERIANS: EXPECT MORE ECONOMIC TRANSFORMATION POLICIES IN THE COMING YEAR

Képtalálat a következőre: „IMAGES OF SARAKI”The Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, during his 53rd birthday special prayer in Ilorin, said the All Progressives Party  led  administration will not relent in formulating economic policies that would benefit all and sundry. And that President Muhammadu Buhari's administration is committed to making lives comfortable and bearable for Nigerians.

The special prayer, was led by the chief imam of Ilorin, Shaykh Mohammed Bashir, had in attendance the reknown Islamic cleric, Shaykh Al-Misklin Onikijipa, as well as Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed, Speaker, Kwara House, Dr. Ali Ahmad, Senator Dino Melaye, and some members of House of Representatives and House of Assembly.
He further explained after the prayers held at his GRA residence,Ilorin, that the day did not call for any celebration considering the global economic crisis affecting the country now.

He explained that, “As I said, the general challenging situation globally, in the country, and in the states did not allow for celebration. We have great challenges ahead as a country. So, we have to dedicate ourselves to improving the situation for the common good.”

He said, lots of transformational economic policies would be made in the year 2016 that would be beneficial to all, and also urged Nigerians to be patient with the Buhari’s administration.

And assured Nigerians that the Senate under his leadership will be committed to better socio- economic development of the country.

He however called for the support of all Nigerians for the task ahead; that the legislature was more committed to serving people in achieving collective aspirations and goals.

He also commend Kwara state people for their unrelenting support since the beginning of his appointment as the senate president, and promised to do all within his means to ensure that he did not disappoint them and all Nigerians.
