African countries and some other parts of the world will make an entrance into year 2016 at exactly 12:00 midnight, but because of the variations in global time zone, some countries have welcomed year 2016 already.
The first countries to feel 2016 were Samoa and Kiribati as well as New Zealand which put up an impressive fireworks display, reported to be the biggest in the city’s history.
