A 16 year old boy from Kebbi State, Isah Mohammed has revealed how he has been using tricks to defraud the Police of substantial amount of money. He was arrested when he went to the Office of the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, to make an allegation that the sum of #150,000 was taken from him by the metro patrol teams 4 and 5 after they arrested him. The teams were however invited and interrogated but it was discovered that the accused officers did not know the boy.
Lagos State Police Commissioner said, the boy was not so lucky as he was with a Deputy Commissioner of police from Anambra State who was suspicious of the boy's report because DCP said a man made similar report in Anambra State and was able to get #120,000 after which he used the same technique to get #40,000 from the police in Ondo State as well after the accused officers were dismissed.
It was later discovered after thorough investigation that the same boy was the same person who had earlier made similar allegation against some police officers in Anambra and Ondo states.
Isah said it was not the first time he will pull that kind of stunt on the police of other states to get money because he claimed not to have a "job and nobody to help" him but was not so lucky this time when he tried the same trick in Lagos which consequently led to his arrest.
