The suspected leader, Abdelhameed Abaaoud, of the Friday French attack has been confirmed dead by the authorities. He and another females suspected terrorists were killed in a raid carried out on an apartment by the French police yesterday.
The police got to know that the the relative of the suspected terrorist stays in an apartment in Paris which make them suspected Abaaoud to have still been in the country.
The police however surrounded the building and serious gunfire fight explosions ensued and he was killed. Around 5000 round of ammunition was said to have been used. The Paris Prosecutor's office announced today that Aboud's body along with a woman suicide bomber who happened to be Aboud's cousin was found in the building with bullet holes. But it is still not clear if he killed himself or was killed by the the police.
