Buckingham Palace Originally built in the 18th century is an official royal palace since 1837 and has a total of 775 rooms, including 52 royal bedroom, 188 workforce rooms, 19 state reception and 78 bathrooms.
The queen will have to find a new home for the next few month because Buckingham Palace, which has not been renovated since 1952, requires a complete overhaul, including pipe linings and asbestos removal.
However, the Palace is not the only home of the Queen. She has eight different official residences.
Of course, the queen has nothing against UK spending 150Million pound ( 210 Million Euro) of british tax payers money on refurbishing her palace even in this time of austerity.
